Ladki Bahin Yojana: Thousands of women beneficiaries of Maharashtra's Ladki Bahin Yojana are worried due to the delay in the disbursement of the pending instalment of the scheme. Earlier, Maharashtra Minister Aditi S Tatkare had announced that eligible beneficiaries of the scheme will get their April instalment of the scheme, also called 'Majhi Ladhki Bahin Yojana', in the first week of May.
Despite the Maharashtra Minister's announcement, there have been reports of beneficiaries complaining about not receiving their April instalment of the scheme. As many beneficiaries are keenly awaiting their April and May instalments, Aditi S Tatkare has given another update on the scheme and notified that the scheme fund was not transferred to some beneficiaries after conducting their 'verification process'.

'More than 2000 'Majhi Ladhki Bahin Yojana' Beneficiaries Are Govt Employees'
Under a routine process of 'verification of beneficiaries' of the scheme, the Maharashtra government has found that around 2,289 government employees were enrolled for the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana during January-February, as per Aditi S Tatkare's social media post in Marathi shared on Friday, May 30.
In her post, Tatkare mentioned that 'verification of beneficiaries' is a common and routine process, and the government identified the ineligible beneficiaries after verifying about 2 lakh applications in the service sector in the routine process.
She also mentioned that the government is trying to conduct verification of beneficiaries on a regular basis to ensure that the funds of the scheme reach only genuine beneficiaries.
