Ladki Bahin Yojana Update: Beneficiaries of Maharashtra's Ladki Bahin Yojana, aka Mukhyamantri - Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, are eagerly awaiting clarity on the release of pending instalments under the scheme. Amid growing anticipation among women beneficiaries, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has made a major announcement regarding the Ladki Bahin Yojana, offering fresh updates on the disbursement timeline.
Several beneficiaries of the Ladki Bahin Yojana have reportedly not received their December instalment due to the Maharashtra civic body elections. In a separate development, the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) raised certain observations regarding the scheme, following which Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde issued a clarification to address the concerns.

Maharashtra Deputy CM's BIG Ladki Bahin Yojana Update
Maharashtra Deputy CM assured the public that the state government will continue to provide instalments under the Maharashtra Ladki Bahin Yojana and will even increase the amount from Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,100.
While criticising the Opposition parties for not doing anything for the common people, Eknath Shinde assured that Maharashtra's flagship scheme will continue. "They didn't distribute even small packets of biscuits and are questioning us why we are giving only Rs 1,500 to women beneficiaries. The state government will increase the amount under the 'Ladki Bahin' scheme to Rs 2,100 at the right time," PTI quoted Eknath Shinde.
When Will Beneficiaries Receive Ladki Bahin Yojana Instalment?
Maharashtra's Ladki Bahin Yojana's January instalment will be released in the mid February, reported Times of India, citing sources. As per the TOI report, the state government is still verifying the genuine beneficiaries affected by a glitch in the e-KYC. Once the process is complete, the government will start the disbursement of the Ladki Bahin Yojana instalment.
Another reason for the delay in Ladki Bahin Yojana instalment, is the state civic polls and panchayat samiti elections set to be held in 12 districts on February 7.
What Is Ladki Bahin Yojana?
