All Delhi district court complexes will hear the matters on on 10 January for the quick settlement of minor offences without long hearings, repeated dates or heavy backlog for ordinary motorists.

The online window for Delhi Lok Adalat 2026 traffic challan cases opens opened on Monday, January 5 2026 at 10:00 am.
How To Apply For Traffic Challans Resolution?
Vehicle owners who are willing to apply for instant traffic challan settlement and resolution must apply through the Delhi Traffic Police website. Once you log in and apply through the websidte, tokens and appointment letters will be issued.
Officials cap to download challans in a day is 45,000 challans, with 1,80,000 challans allowed overall.

-Check details about your pending traffic challans on the Delhi Traffic Police website or Parivahan portal.
-Enter your vehicle number or challan number to check its status.
-Only those challans that are visible on the portal or on the website are eligible for settlement at Delhi Lok Adalat.
-Confirm eligibility of your challan once it is visible.
-Now, register online for Lok Adalat. Complete online registration in advance through the Delhi Traffic Police website or the DSLSA Lok Adalat registration page.
-Download token and appointment letter.
-Take the print out of the document.
-Check the court you have been assigned, visit the court on January 10.
-Ensure to carry original documents like vehicle's registration certificate, driving license, appointment letter, insurance paper, pollution certificate, challan receipts, etc.
-Wait till your turn appears during Delhi Lok Adalat Hearing on 10 January. Generally, a judicial officer and a legal representative is involved in the hearing.
-Once the hearing is done, the benche may reduce the fine or waive it fully depend on the offence.
-Pay the revised fine, collect the receipt once the traffic challan settlement is made.
