Madhya Pradesh will designate 2025 as the industry year, hosting various programmes to boost investment, including a global investors summit in Bhopal, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced on Monday. The state government is dedicated to supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of making India a developed nation by 2047, marking 100 years of Independence, Yadav stated at a press conference.

The Global Investors Summit-2025, themed "Madhya Pradesh: The Future Ready State," will be held in Bhopal on February 7-8. As pre-events, regional industry conclaves, round table meetings with industrialists, and roadshows will be organised. These initiatives aim to attract significant investments to the state.
Regional Industry Conclaves
The regional industry conclave in Ujjain on March 1-2 saw industrialists committing Rs 1 lakh crore in investments. Pranav Adani of the Adani Group pledged Rs 75,000 crore. In a Mumbai roadshow on July 13, around 450 investors participated, including Anil Ambani of Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, who committed Rs 50,000 crore for Singrauli and other districts. Investments worth Rs 1,150 crore were also committed to the tourism sector.
The next regional industry conclave is scheduled for July 20 in Jabalpur. Over 1500 investors are expected to attend, with a buyer-seller meet featuring 1000 industrial representatives. The event will focus on agriculture and defence sector investments. During this daylong event, inauguration and foundation stone laying for around 70 projects will occur, attracting Rs 1,222 crore in investments and generating 3,444 jobs.
Upcoming Events
A regional industry conclave will take place in Gwalior in September this year. Additionally, the state government plans to organise similar events in Coimbatore on July 25, Bengaluru in August, Delhi in September, and a textile conclave in Indore during the same month.
These initiatives are part of the state's strategy to promote investment and economic growth. The government aims to create more than one lakh jobs through these efforts. The Chief Minister emphasised that these events are crucial for showcasing Madhya Pradesh as an attractive destination for investors.
By observing 2025 as industry year and hosting these events, Madhya Pradesh aims to significantly boost its investment landscape. The state is committed to providing full cooperation to achieve India's development goals by its centenary of independence in 2047.
