In a welcome move for consumers, the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), which markets Amul products, has announced a Rs.1 price cut across its key milk variants: Amul Gold, Amul Taza, and Amul Tea Special (1 kg packs). The announcement was made by GCMMF Managing Director Jayen Mehta, highlighting the cooperative's efforts to pass on benefits to consumers in January 2025.

Key Details of Amul Rs.1 Price Cut
The price drop applies to Amul Gold, Taza, and Tea Special, making these variants more accessible to consumers. Consumers will now enjoy reduced rates across India, contributing to better affordability. With Amul's milk products being widely consumed, this cost reduction will provide relief to millions of families.
The recent Amul milk price reduction has brought new rates for its popular milk variants, offering much-needed relief to consumers. The Amul Gold, previously priced at Rs. 80 per liter, will now retail at Rs. 79, reflecting a Rs.1 price cut. Similarly, Amul Taza, which earlier cost Rs. 56 per liter, will now be available for Rs. 55. The Amul Tea Special, previously priced at Rs. 62, has also been reduced to Rs. 61.
