Mumbai Airport Alert: Air travellers can now order everyday items straight at their boarding gate through Blinkit, that too at regular city prices. The quick-commerce platform has launched the service exclusively for air travellers at Mumbai Airport. They can order items and receive them at Terminal 2.
Blinkit delivery service at Mumbai airport will now let passengers order everyday items to their boarding gate. The service is live inside the domestic departures area, offering more than 2,500 products. The feature is likely to save passengers from last-minute panic purchases at kiosks.

"Today we're launching Blinkit inside the Mumbai Airport! Specifically Terminal 2 (Domestic departures) of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. Through our partnership with Adani Airports, travellers can now order from a selection of 2500+ products like phone chargers, books, gifts and more on the Blinkit app. Orders will be delivered within the terminal by our dedicated team of walkers," read a social media post by Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa.
How Blinkit Airport Delivery Would Work? Check Coverage, Timing, Other Details
The facility is limited to domestic departures at Terminal 2 and is not operational for Terminal 1, which is commonly used by international travellers. More terminals are likely to be added in the coming months, as Blinkit and Adani Airport Holdings added in their noted.
When Will Service Begin?
The service window has already begun, hence eligible passengers can start ordering immediately. Travellers simply need the latest version of the Blinkit application on their phone. Once the boarding pass is scanned and security is cleared, customers can use the airport location option within the app and shop while waiting near the gate.
Blinkit Airport Delivery: Step-by-Step Guide to Payment
-Download and install the Blinkit application.
-Passengers must first cross the security checkpoint and then open the app.
-Allow the app location, select the desired items in your cart and place order.
-After choosing Terminal 2 domestic departure as the location, customers select the exact gate, lounge, or seating zone and add required products to the cart before confirming the order.
-A Blinkit delivery partner then walks from the in-terminal store to the chosen spot, such as the boarding gate, nearby restaurant or waiting area. On arrival, the passenger checks the items and completes the handover by sharing a one-time password displayed in the app. This OTP step is mandatory for closing each airport delivery order.
All payments inside the airport are fully digital. The platform does not allow cash-on-delivery for T2 orders, so passengers must use UPI, cards, or other online methods accepted within the app.
