On Diwali that is falling on November 14, 2020 this year, the country's top stock exchanges will conduct 1-hour special Muhurat trading session.

And the same shall begin at 6:15 pm IST, the stock exchanges notified via the circular. All trades carried out during the session would result in settlement obligation. Muhurat trading is believed to bring in wealth and prosperity all through the year. On the occasion new Samvat year- the new Hindu Calendar year also starts.

On the occasion of Balipratipada, the exchanges will remain shut.
