PM Kisan 15th Installment Release date: The 15th Installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) is likely to be credited into the bank account of eligible farmers after Diwali. Before this, the 14th installment of the Central Sector Scheme was released in July of this year. One should note that linking your Aadhaar Card with your PM Kisan bank account is mandatory to receive benefits under the scheme. Linking your Aadhaar and bank details is required for eKYC and for farmers to receive the next installment amount.
According to the DBT Agriculture website, "For the 15th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, it is mandatory for the beneficiaries to get eKYC done, otherwise, they will be deprived of the benefits of the scheme. Beneficiaries can verify the eKYC themselves through the OTP received on their Aadhaar-linked mobile number from the PM-KISAN portal or by downloading the PMKISAN GOI App from the Google Play Store and linking their Aadhaar mobile number through face authentication."

What is Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi ?
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PIV-KISAN) is a new Central Sector Scheme to provide financial support to all landholding farmers' families in the country to supplement their financial needs for procuring various inputs related to agriculture and allied activities as well as domestic needs. Under the Scheme, the entire financial liability towards the transfer of benefits to targeted beneficiaries will be borne by the Government of India.
Under the PM-KISAN scheme, all landholding farmers' families shall be provided the financial benefit of Rs.6000 per annum per family payable in three equal installments of Rs.2000 each, every four months.
According to the government, the beneficiaries are required to provide their bank account details along with their Aadhaar number so as to credit the financial benefit under the scheme directly into their bank accounts. No benefit can be given if bank account details have not been provided.
How to link Aadhaar with bank account by visiting your nearest ATM
Step 1: Visit the nearest ATM of your bank. Enter your 4-digit PIN once you swipe your debit card.
Step 2: Select the 'Services' option.
Step 3: Click on the Aadhaar Registration option in the 'Registrations' section.
Step 4: Select the kind of account (savings or current), enter the Aadhaar number, and click 'Ok'.
When the process is finished, you will receive a confirmation message on your registered phone number.
