Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 15th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme on November 15, 2023.Under this scheme, an amount worth over Rs 18,000 crore was released to over 8 crore farmers. An amount of Rs 2000 has been credited to the bank account of eligible farmers after the release of the latest installment.
However, it has come to the limelight that several farmers are still waiting for this amount as the money has still not been credited to them. This article is for eligible farmers who haven't received the amount and are finding ways on how to get this amount they are entitled to under the center's flagship scheme.

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PIV-KISAN) is a new Central Sector Scheme to provide financial support to all landholding farmers' families in the country to supplement their financial needs for procuring various inputs related to agriculture and allied activities as well as domestic needs. Under the Scheme, the entire financial liability towards the transfer of benefits to targeted beneficiaries will be borne by the Government of India.
Under the PM-KISAN scheme, all landholding farmers' families are provided the financial benefit of Rs.6000 per annum per family payable in three equal installments of Rs.2000 each, every four months.
To address this, farmers encountering non-receipt can lodge complaints via the PM-KISAN Helpdesk. Helpline numbers - 011-24300606 and 155261, as well as the toll-free number 18001155266, serve as avenues for grievance registration. Alternatively, emails can be directed to pmkisan-ict@gov.in or pmkisan-funds@gov.in.
However, before registering a complaint, it is always advisable to verify one's name on the beneficiary list. Follow the below-listed steps to verify your name on the beneficiary list.
Step 1: Go to pmkisan.gov.in
Step 2: Navigate: Select 'Beneficiary Status' in the 'Farmers Corner'
Step 3: Enter Details: Choose state, district, Sub-District, and Panchayat
Step 4: Enter registered Aadhaar or bank account number
Step 5: Retrieve Data: Click 'Get Data' to view the installment status
Those farmers who are yet to receive the 15th installment of Rs 2000 can file complaints through the PM-KISAN Helpdesk during weekdays or by emailing their grievances. One reason for non-receipt can be due to non-compliance with e-KYC norms, which the government has made mandatory for all PM-KISAN Yojana beneficiaries.
One should note that eKYC and the seeding of Aadhaar with operational bank accounts are required for the deposit of the 15th installment.
A PIB release dated November 14, 2023, said, "To facilitate the farmers in doing the eKYC in PM KISAN, the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has developed a mobile application with the feature of facial authentication-based e-KYC which can be used by the farmers to complete their own eKYC and can also assist 100 other farmers in their neighborhood to complete e-KYC from the comfort of their homes. This app is the first mobile app that use a facial authentication feature in any benefit transfer scheme of the Government of India. This Mobile App is very easy to use and is easily available for download on Google Play store."
