Celebrating Swadeshi Products

He urged citizens to celebrate the creativity and hard work of 140 crore Indians by buying Indian-made goods. "Let's buy Indian products and say--Garv Se Kaho Yeh Swadeshi Hai!" he posted on X.
The Prime Minister also invited people to share their purchases on social media to inspire others to do the same. This initiative aims to boost local businesses and promote self-reliance among Indian consumers.
Ayodhya's Record-Breaking Deepotsav
On the eve of Deepotsav, Ayodhya achieved a new Guinness World Record by lighting over 26 lakh oil lamps along the Saryu River. The Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department collaborated with the Ayodhya District Administration for this event. A total of 2,617,215 diyas were lit, marking it as the world's largest oil lamp display.
The grand event saw participation from thousands who engaged in a simultaneous 'diya’ rotation. Officials reported that over 30,000 volunteers from universities, colleges, and various departments took part in both diya-lighting and rotation activities. The lamps were meticulously arranged for accurate counting and verification by Guinness World Records officials.
Additionally, 2,128 devotees performed a grand Saryu aarti on October 17th evening. This spectacular display was part of Ayodhya's efforts to celebrate Diwali with grandeur and devotion.
The festival of Diwali continues to be celebrated with enthusiasm across India, symbolising hope and unity among its people. As these celebrations unfold, they reflect not only cultural richness but also an enduring spirit of togetherness.
