On the Fortune India-500 list, Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries has again featured on the top spot and commands a cumulative revenue of 7 percent and 11% of profits of all the companies spotted there in the list.

In the previous year, the firm outpaced IOC to make it to the top slot for the first time. The Fortune India 500 list is based on revenue and the figures this year pertain to fiscal year 2019-2020.
In the list 38 companies have been reported to clock revenues of more than Rs. 50000 crore each that together account for nearly 60 per cent of the total revenues this year, Fortune India said. And 39 companies report revenues of less than Rs. 3000 crore. The manufacturing sector including 303 companies, accounted for 62 per cent of the total revenue, and 76 per cent of the total profit. The services sector, with 145 companies, contributed 33 per cent of the total revenue and 19 per cent of the total profit.
