Reliance Jio which has disrupted the telecom sector unveils the new yearly plan that comes with a validity of 360 days. The plan will cost Rs. 4,999 and offers 350 GB data in total but once the data usage gets exhausted there will be a tremendous decline in speed.

In the earlier case, the company had taken the Rs. 2,020 plan off the shelf and brought in Rs. 2,121 plan that has a lower validity. For Reliance Jio numbers, under the plan you will be allowed unlimited calling but for voice services to other providers there is a limit set at 12000 minutes. Thereon, the customer needs to go for additional talktime recharge.
In the plan you are given access to other Jio apps as well as 100 SMS per day.
Among, the other offerings of Jio, there is the cheapest plan of Rs. 149 in which there is offered 24GB data.
Amid telecom industry fallout given the AGR woes, it is highly likely that tariff across the industry will rise as the companies would need to meet the shortfall.
