SBI Jobs: PSU To Release SBI PO 2024 Notification Soon, How To Apply, Age Limit, Eligibility

The State Bank of India (SBI) is expected to release SBI PO 2024 Notification on its official website anytime soon. The PSU has yet to release an official notification on its official website. As per reports, SBI will release the advertisement on its official website. Interested candidates will be able to apply for the posts of Probationary Officer once the advertisement has been released on the official website of SBI: sbi.co.in, sbi.co.in/web/careers/ and bank.sbi/careers/current-openings.
It is worth mentioning here that SBI has been released the SBI PO notification every September. The selection process includes three phases namely Prelims, Mains, GD (Group Discussion, Interview, and Psychometric Test.

Soon after joining the Probationary Officer posts under SBI, the chosen candidate will be designated as "Probationary Officers" and likely to remain on a probation for 2-years. The selected candidate will have to undergo continuous asseement according to the PSU's extant policy during the probation tenure. Candidates qualifying the assessment according to decided standards from SBI, will be confirmed in Service of the Bank in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I).

How To Apply For SBI PO

• Visit the careers website of the PSU i.e. sbi.co.in/web/careers.
• Click on "Join SBI" option and then "Current Openings"
• Now open the tab "Recruitment Of Probationary Officers" and click on the option "Apply Online". You will be redirected to the application page.
• You need to complete the registration process and log into your account.
• Fill the application form and upload necessary documents.
• Pay the required fee.

How To Check Application Fees?

For Ealier last year, SBI PO application fee was fixed as Rs 750 for general, EWS and OBC category candidates. Meanwhile, no application fees was charged for SC, ST and PwBD category candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate seeking to apply for the position of SBI PO must have a graduation degree. If the candidate is in the final year or semester of his/her graduation degree, they can apply provisionally. Such candidate must produce proof of getting the graduation degree at the later stage of recruitment drive. Meanwhile, qualifications of Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant shall be accepted.

Number of Vacancies Filled In Last 2-Years

Last year, the exam was held for filling 2000 vacancies and last to last year, a total of 1673 vacancies were filled. In 2023, the SBI PO notification was released on September 6 and application process began on September 7. On the other hand, in 2022 the notification was released on September 21 and registration began on September 22.

Age Limit for SBI PO

The candidate applying for the post must be at least 21 years old and not more than 30 years old on the cut-off date.
