Skye Air has partnered with Siddha Sejal Group to launch drone-enabled delivery services at the Siddha Sky residential project in Mumbai. The initiative aims to provide residents with quick access to daily essentials and packages through advanced drone technology.
Skye Air has announced a strategic partnership with Siddha Sejal Group to introduce drone delivery services in Mumbai's residential areas. This collaboration will see the first drone delivery infrastructure established at the Siddha Sky project in Wadala. Residents will soon receive essentials and packages via drones, enhancing convenience within the premises.

The initiative involves setting up a Skye-Pod zone within the complex for easy collection. Each drone can travel 1 km in just 60 seconds, with a maximum range of 30 km, ensuring quick doorstep deliveries. The first phase is slated to begin in early 2026, marking Mumbai's inaugural residential drone delivery service.
Drone Delivery Infrastructure
Ankit Kumar, Founder and CEO of Skye Air, stated, "We announce our strategic partnership with Siddha Sejal Group, marking a defining step in shaping the future of drone-powered deliveries in Mumbai. With Advanced Skye-Pods and AI-based route optimisation via Skye UTM, we are setting a new benchmark for tech-enabled urban mobility."
The collaboration aims to address Mumbai's growing challenges like traffic congestion and delivery delays. Eshaan Khullar, Vice President of Skye Air, highlighted that traditional logistics systems are struggling to meet the demand of over 5 lakh daily last-mile deliveries across the city.
Urban Mobility and Sustainability
Dhirraj Gada, Director at Sejal Group, expressed that partnering with Skye Air aligns with their vision for smart and sustainable real estate. He noted that this initiative not only enhances convenience but also contributes to making Mumbai a cleaner and more efficient urban environment.
Mumbai's major metros face increasing issues from traffic congestion and carbon emissions. The introduction of drone deliveries is expected to alleviate some of these pressures by offering an innovative solution for last-mile logistics.
This partnership represents a significant move towards integrating technology into urban living spaces. By leveraging advanced drone technology, the collaboration aims to set a new standard for urban mobility solutions in India.
