Starlink India Price: Months after bringing Tesla in India, tech billionaire is all set to bring Starlink's services to the country. The satellite internet venture, on Monday, December 8, released the prices of its residential internet service plans in India.
Starlink India price launch on Monday hints that the satellite internet services will be available in the country soon. For those who were eagerly waiting for the company's internet launch, here are all the details you need to know.

Starlink's plans titled 'residential' plans are available for retail users for high-speed home internet services. Users are required to pay Rs 8,000 per month for the service. As per Starlink's official website, users will receive a range of benefits under the plan including plug and play setup, more than 99.9% uptime, resilience against weather conditions, unlimited data, and 30-day trial.
Before availing the monthly plan, users will be required to pay a one-time cost of Rs 34,000 to purchase required hardware kit. The package will include unlimited data and a 30-day trial period.
When Will Starlink Go Live In India?
There is no official date of the Starlink launch date in India. However, as the company has released Starlink satellite plans in India, there are chances that the service may be launched soon.
Starlink will offer high-speed connectivity via satellites at a premium compared with most wired broadband plans in the country.
Starlink India Approval 'Pending'
The revelation of Starlink India prices has come even as the company is yet to receive regulatory approval. As per the website, India remains marked "pending regulatory approval" on Satrlink's availability map. Permissions from authorities are in advanced stages, and industry analysts say the move to reveal tariffs suggests the company is preparing for a swift commercial rollout once final clearances arrive.
How To Check Starlink Plan Availaibility?
Visitors can enter their address on the Starlink India portal to check plan availability and any local offers. However, the service is not yet live in any Indian city, and detailed location-wise tariffs remain hidden. When users search for plans, the portal responds with the message: "Starlink Residential isn't available in your region. To receive notifications about its availability and other product updates in the future, enter your email address below."
Other than residential plan, Starlink has disclosed only residential tariff plans, whereas the prices for enterprise or dedicated business plans in India are awaited. As per analysts, further details on Starlink plans will be available once the company expands its physical presence, partners with local vendors, and gains clearer picture o regulatory and spectrum costs.
