Online food aggregator, Swiggy, has launched a special feature to bring ultra-luxurious dishes and cuisines by India's top chefs at their customers' doorsteps. The first-of-its-kind feature will let Swiggy users to order limited-edition, chef-curated dishes.

But the option to order these premium dishes on Swiggy will be available for a short window, and people will have to do advance booking to be able to oder their desired food using the feature.

The feature will only be available for ordering luxurious and premium dishes. Swiggy users can use its 'Drops' feature to order dishes by India's most popular restaurants like Le15 Patisserie by Pooja Dhingra, Smash Guys by AB Gupta, Aubree, Ciclo Café, Louis Burger, Good Flippin's Burgers, TwentySeven Bakehouse, and Espressos AnyDay.

Swiggy Drops Feature: How To Use It?

-Download and install Swiggy application on your mobile.
-Login with your email id or mobile number.
-Swiggy's new feature 'Drops' provides special dishes and cuisine to its users. Users will not find these items on their usual menu.
-Ordering items via Swiggy's 'Drops' is available for a limited time.
-To use Swiggy's 'Drops' for ordering food online, users are required to sign up beforehand through application.
-In some cases, they are required to become a part of the waitlist whenever there is an increase in demand for the service.
-After registering and joining the waiting list, Swiggy dispatches notifications as the event approaches, reminding enthusiasts to stay alert and ready, thus creating an atmosphere filled with anticipation and a rush to participate.
-Once users receive reminders, they are required to open their application and order the desired food item. Swiggy orders via 'Drops' are fulfilled via first-come, first-serve basis.
