Kannada superstar, Yash, has postponed the release date of his upcoming move Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. The gangster action movie was initially scheduled to release on March 19, and was expected to collide with the much-awaited Dhurandhar 2 that stars Ranveer Singh. One of the main reasons why the Toxic movie is delayed is the latest ongoing conflict in the Middle East, a key market for Indian cinema.

Why Toxic Movie Release Is Postponed?

Yash said, "Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups is a film we conceptualized with the vision to create cinema for a global audience. Filmed in Kannada and English, it is built with the conviction to connect with viewers both at home and across the world. After years of dedicated labour, we were excited to share our film with you all on the 19th of March. However, the current uncertainty, especially in the Middle East, has created a situation that impacts our goal to reach and connect with the widest possible audience."

Therefore, Yash added that "in the interest of our partners and our audiences, we have made the difficult but carefully considered decision to reschedule our release."

Majority of his fans are happy about the new release date.

Following this decision, Toxic will now be released on June 4, 2026 in all Indian languages and in English around the globe.

Toxic is directed by Geetu Mohandas and has a powerpack casts including Yash in a dual role, alongside Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth. The producer is Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations.

Toxic Movie Budget:

As per the reports, Toxic is budgeted at around Rs 600-700 crore, which is likely one of the most expensive Indian film ever made.
