TUI Airways will commence direct charter flights from the UK to Goa starting November 5, 2025. This initiative aims to enhance international connectivity and promote sustainable tourism in Goa.
Starting next week, TUI Airways from the UK will begin direct charter flights to Goa for the 2025-26 winter season. This move aims to enhance international connectivity for the state, according to Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte. Flights will operate between Manchester and London Gatwick airports and Manohar International Airport in North Goa starting November 5.

Strengthening Global Tourism
The introduction of TUI Airways charter services signifies Goa's growing prominence in global tourism, Khaunte highlighted. The state attracts numerous Indian and international tourists annually. It is working towards a regenerative tourism model that balances sustainability, community empowerment, and authentic cultural experiences.
Freedom Holidays Pvt Ltd will manage these flights, offering four weekly services—16 monthly—with a total of 83 flights planned for the season. December will see 17 flights, while January will have 18. This schedule aims to cater to the increasing demand for travel to Goa during the winter months.
Ensuring Seamless Operations
Goa Tourism Director Kedar Naik mentioned that his department collaborates with stakeholders to ensure smooth operations at Mopa airport, which began functioning in early 2023. The ongoing arrival of charter flights from the UK highlights Goa's preparedness to offer high-quality and responsible visitor experiences this winter.
The Department of Tourism is committed to providing all necessary support for a seamless passenger experience. This includes showcasing Goa's hospitality, diverse tourism offerings, and focus on sustainable and community-led development. Naik emphasised the importance of these elements in enhancing visitor satisfaction.
The coastal state continues to draw both domestic and international travellers each year. By focusing on sustainability and community involvement, Goa aims to offer unique cultural experiences while maintaining its natural beauty and resources.
These efforts reflect Goa's dedication to evolving its tourism sector responsibly while meeting the expectations of modern travellers seeking meaningful experiences.
