Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented her sixth consecutive Budget on Thursday, outlining the government's plan to realize PM Modi's vision of a developed India. Shah emphasized that the budget speech illuminated the significant achievements of the Modi government during its journey to make India the foremost nation in every sector during the Amrit Kaal.

The home minister acknowledged the Modi government's efforts in providing financial assistance to 11.8 crore farmers and safeguarding four crore farmers through crop insurance, thereby strengthening their financial stability and prosperity. Suryoday Yojana: Empowering Families with Solar Energy
The home minister highlighted the Suryoday Yojana, which embodies the prime minister's vision of enabling one crore families to generate electricity by installing solar energy systems in their homes. These families will receive 300 units of free electricity per month, resulting in annual savings of Rs 15,000 to Rs 18,000.
Expanding Access to Healthcare
Shah acknowledged PM Modi's efforts in providing free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh to over 30 crore people under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. He also mentioned the significant decision in the interim Budget to link ASHA and Anganwadi workers and helpers with Ayushman Yojana, ensuring that these individuals can also avail the benefits of free treatment.
Increased Income Tax Exemption
Shah noted that the prime minister has significantly increased the income tax exemption from Rs 2.2 lakh in 2013-14 to Rs 7 lakh in 10 years. This decision has bolstered the confidence of income tax payers in the government, leading to a 2.4-fold increase in their numbers.
