Vakrangee Limited has entered into a corporate agency agreement with Tata AIG General Insurance Company Ltd. (Tata AIG). The partnership seeks to increase the provision of critical health, motor, travel and other general insurance offerings in areas which have been neglected or newly emerged. This collaboration will allow customers of Tata AIG's diverse general insurance portfolio to be served through the wide network of Vakrangee Kendras. The initiative hopes to improve the financial security of millions of consumers in India by enhancing ease in purchasing insurance at a relatively low cost.

The Ek Kendra, Ek Bank (Kendra outlets) caters as a brand name multi-service centre offering a wide array of services such as banking, insurance, ATM, assisted e-commerce, e-governance, and total managed healthcare. More than 83% of these Kendras are located in tier four to tier six towns and rural areas of the country. Tata AIG can serve these remote regions with properly accessible and affordable insurance while closing the insurance gap. This partnering enables Vakrangee to position important health and lifestyle services nearer to the consumers who stand to benefit from them the most, extending complete financial services to all parts of the nation.
This partnership is in line with Vakrangee's vision of increased product and service development through collaboration with leading business partners. It is worth noting that in Q3 FY 2024-25, Vakrangee's total income stood at Rs 6,863.0 lakh. This is a 31.7% growth as compared to the previous year, which is indicative of consistent and strong growth. In the nine month period of FY 2024-25, the company reported total income to be Rs 19,429.6 lakh, with a year-on-year growth of 31.7%. Profit before tax and exceptional items increased to Rs 590.6 lakh for the financial year, translating to a 110.1% year-on-year increase.
The firm along with Subsidiary Vortex Engineering is set for growth and diversification. It has acquired a stake in apparel, set the budget for expansion and plans to achieve 100 per cent district coverage by March 2026 with Kendra Network. As part of the aggressive roadmap "VISION 2030'', Vakrangee plans to set up more than 3 lakh Kendras and 15000 ATMs enabling the firm to earn revenue of USD 1 billion and gross transaction value of USD 150 billion.
