Pulkit Kejriwal, the son of former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, has often remained away from the political limelight, focusing on his academics and career. While his father leads the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Pulkit has built an impressive academic record that has drawn attention in recent years.
Pulkit Kejriwal's Academic Achievements
Pulkit excelled in his studies from an early age. He scored an impressive 96% in his CBSE Class 12 board exams from Delhi Public School (DPS). Later, he went on to successfully crack the highly competitive IIT-JEE, one of India's toughest entrance exams, securing admission into the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi.
His success in the IIT-JEE was widely recognized, with many seeing it as a reflection of his dedication and hard work. Despite being the son of a prominent political leader, Pulkit chose to stay away from politics, instead focusing on his education and career.
Where is Pulkit Kejriwal now?
After securing admission to IIT Delhi, Pulkit pursued a degree in engineering. Reports suggest that he has continued to maintain a low profile, concentrating on his academic and professional journey. Unlike many political heirs who follow their parents into public service, Pulkit has shown no inclination toward politics and has instead focused on his career in technology and innovation.

According to his LinkedIn profile, he completed a summer internship at the University of Cambridge from May to July 2021 for three months. Later, in 2022, he worked as a summer associate at FINMECHANICS in Mumbai, Maharashtra, from May to July 2022 for three months. Despite his father's high-profile political career, Pulkit has kept his personal life private. He rarely makes public appearances and has steered clear of media attention, preferring to focus on his academic and professional pursuits.
Arvind Kejriwal One of the Highly Educated Political Leaders
Arvind Kejriwal, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and former Delhi chief minister, is known for his strong academic background. He is among the few politicians in India who have cleared both the IIT-JEE and the UPSC Civil Services Exam, two of the country's most challenging entrance exams. Born in Haryana, Kejriwal pursued his higher education at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, one of India's premier engineering institutions. He completed a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from 1985 to 1989. He cleared and joined the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) as an Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax. Both of his children, Pulkit Kejriwal and Harshita Kejriwal, have followed in his footsteps and are graduates of IIT Delhi. With the Delhi election results underway, it will be interesting to see whether Arvind Kejriwal's AAP retains power or if the BJP makes a comeback after 26 years out of office.
