To elevate the experience of its Platinum Reserve Credit Card holders, American Express has announced a series of new benefits, slated to go live on May 1, 2024. Among the highlights are the inclusion of Accor Plus Membership, complimentary international lounge visits, and revamped milestone rewards tailored to higher spending. These enhancements aim to bolster the card's appeal and provide added value to its users.
Accor Plus Membership
One of the most significant additions to the Platinum Reserve Credit Card perks is the inclusion of Accor Plus Membership. This premium program, typically priced at Rs 8,260 per annum, offers cardholders exclusive dining privileges with up to 50% discounts at participating Accor-affiliated restaurants across the Asia Pacific region. Members also gain Silver status in the ALL loyalty program, entitling them to additional stay benefits and a fast track to elite status with 20 elite nights credited annually.

International Lounge Visits
In a bid to enhance travel experiences, American Express is extending its lounge access benefits for Platinum Reserve cardholders. Starting May 1, 2024, members will enjoy two complimentary lounge visits per year at international destinations, in addition to the existing allowance of 12 domestic lounge visits annually within India.
Enhanced Milestone Benefits
Acknowledging the spending patterns of its users, American Express is revamping the milestone rewards offered on the Platinum Reserve Credit Card. While previously, cardholders received vouchers worth Rs 500 upon reaching a spending milestone of Rs 25,000 per month, the new scheme doubles this incentive. Moving forward, spending a minimum of Rs 50,000 per month will unlock monthly vouchers worth Rs 1,000, providing added value for those who utilize their cards extensively.
Golf Benefits
Another notable change is the modification of the Golf Benefit program. Previously, cardholders were entitled to two rounds of golf per month at select courses across India at no additional cost. However, effective May 1, 2024, this benefit will be linked to monthly spending, requiring a minimum expenditure of Rs 50,000 to unlock access for the following month. This adjustment aims to align the benefit with the spending habits of cardholders while still providing exclusive perks for golf enthusiasts.
With these enhancements, American Express is providing value and privileges to Platinum Reserve Credit Card members. By introducing sought-after benefits such as Accor Plus Membership, complimentary international lounge visits, and revamped milestone rewards, the company aims to elevate the overall cardholder experience and ensure maximum satisfaction.
