Budget 2022 is likely to focus on accelerating India's recovery from the pandemic shock, as well as improving the country's healthcare system to prevent future outbreaks and that is important. But, in India, the Budget is incomplete without adding the wishlist of Housewives. The budget 2022 is scheduled on February 1, 2022, and the expectations of every sector were checked, however, a budget without the participation of women is considered incomplete in India. Indian Housewives also made their wishlist. Here, we have highlighted some basic wishes from their wishlist that they are expecting out of the budget allocations.
Control on the Prices of Daily Needs
The kitchen is important, no doubt. The Indian Housewives are hopeful that this union budget will look after the rising prices of daily needs in the kitchen such as Atta, Vegetables, Rice, Oils, and others things. The expectations are high on the control of price hikes.
Limit the LPG Cylinder Price
LPG Cylinder price is one of the most discussed topics in Indian households. The Indian Housewives are expecting some tax as well limit or control on the domestic LPG Cylinder. Since the last few years, the Gas Cylinder price has witnessed a substantial hike in price, which directly impacted the Indian House and housewives' house budget. They are expecting some tax or provisions from the government to bring down the price of Domestic Gas Cylinder in the country.
Increase In Income Tax Slab To Benefit The Daily needs
This sounds quite different from the other two wishes, but, it is one of the most wished demands of every household in India including the housewives. The Indian Housewifes back this demand as this is directly linked to their monthly house budget. Increasing the tax slab helps them to save some money for their monthly house budget and also helps them to manage it more efficiently and effectively. This demand is more associated with housewives who don't work or dedicated themselves to house management.
Limit On School Fees Hike
Indian Housewives not only manage their home, but, also manage their kid's education. It has been seen that in the previous few years the school has increased their school fees above the inflation rate.
The Indian Housewifes expect, the government should step in and make some rules regarding the school fees hike. School hikes the fees way more than the income of the individual, which makes it hard for the parents to manage and stick to the price hike.
Housewives' demands are simple yet important to consider. Government should look after it and limit this uncontrolled school fees hike by the private schools in the country.
