Prudent Equity Ace Fund, a SEBI-registered category III long-only alternate investment fund (AIF), has soared 75% time-weighted rate of return (TWRR) in just one year since its launch in December 2022. The flexi cap fund, with a minimum ticket size of Rs 1 crore, stands out for its investment approach and has recently given 20% growth in the last quarter.
In a statement released by the fund house, Prudent Equity Ace Fund announced an 8% surge in the month of December alone. Siddharth Oberoi, the Fund Manager, shared insights into the fund's performance, stating that an initial investment of Rs 1 lakh at the time of launch would have grown to Rs 1,75,000 by December 2023.
At the core of Prudent Equity Ace Fund's success lies its investment strategy, characterized by a focus on the economic fundamentals of businesses.

With a sector-agnostic approach, Prudent Equity Ace Fund defies the conventional top-down strategy. Instead, the fund prioritizes the economic dynamics of a business, disregarding industry boundaries. Oberoi elaborated on this, stating, "Every industry has its own outlier, and if it is available at valuations that are appealing to us, we like to invest in those pockets."
The fund's success story is further enriched by its strategic sectoral allocations. Currently, Prudent Equity Ace Fund sees significant value in construction, engineering, and infrastructure companies, leading to an overweight allocation of approximately 35% in this sector.
Following closely behind is the banking sector, reflecting the fund's diverse yet focused portfolio. With a current capital handling capacity of around Rs 300 crore, Prudent Equity Ace Fund has established itself as a force to be reckoned with in the competitive landscape of alternative investment funds.
Prudent Equity Ace Fund's performance is a testament to its resilience amid economic uncertainties. The fund's ability to identify promising outliers across industries, coupled with a steadfast commitment to sound economic principles, has positioned it as a standout performer in the market.
Investors who entered the fund at its inception have witnessed their investments grow substantially, reaffirming the effectiveness of Prudent Equity Ace Fund's investment strategy.
With a track record of delivering healthy returns within a short span, Prudent Equity Ace Fund is now poised for continued growth in the coming years. The fund's commitment to a disciplined investment approach and its ability to identify high-potential companies across sectors positions it as an attractive option for investors seeking long-term capital appreciation.
