EKI Energy
The small cap company is an eminent player in the field of energy, carbon credit and quality management. The company on May 17, 2022 approved bonus share issue in the ratio of 3:1 i.e. 3 shares shall be issued against one held by the shareholder. Further after deciding on the record date as July 1, the company in its filing dated June 29, 2022 informed of the extension of the record date for bonus share issuance. Likewise, the new record date is fixed as Tuesday, July 5, 2022. So, as the ex-bonus date usually falls a day before the record date, shares of EKI Energy will go ex-bonus on July 4, 2022.
The scrip is a multibagger with 1-year return at 1011%, nevertheless on a YTD basis, the scrip has fallen in price by over 24%.
Minda Industries
The mid cap auto ancillary firm is a supplier of automotive solutions to original equipment manufacturers. The Company offers a range of products across various verticals of auto components, such as switching systems, acoustic systems and alloy wheels. The company announced 1:1 bonus share issuance and in respect of the same it shall go ex-bonus on July 7, 2022. The record date i.e. based on which the company shall determine the eligibility for bonus shares is July 8. For the investors, the record date is the date on which they should be holding the scrip in their demat account so as to be eligible for the bonus shares.
Recently the firm bought 5.24% stake in a Germany based company for 15 million euros.
The scrip last traded at a price of Rs. 944.3 per share.
Torrent Pharma
The large cap pharma company with a m-cap of Rs. 49,361 crore announced bonus share in the proportion of 1:1. For the same, the ex-date is July 8 and the record date is July 11, 2022. The company in the March ended quarter reported healthy performance and further as the domestic outlook remains robust there are expectations of margin expansion. The company after hitting a low in May is now seen gaining and has recovered to last quote at Rs. 2920 per share.
This is the fifth largest pharma company by m-cap.
