Production Linked Incentives (PLI) Scheme from the government is a scheme that aims to boost manufacturing, export, and investment in the country.
The government of India initiates the scheme to generate more employment, encourage other companies worldwide to find the workforce in India, and enforce local production to encourage local and domestic production and create more jobs.
As per the scheme, the government of India encourages domestic companies to expand their production and manufacturing, for which the government provides incremental sales or incentives.
