Citibank India, a multinational bank headquartered in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex, has altered its interest rates on time deposits, recurring deposits, tax saver deposits, and senior citizens deposits. According to the bank, the new rates are effective February 11, 2022. Citibank India provides a variety of schemes to its customers, namely Citibank Fixed Deposit, Citibank Multi Deposits, Citibank Recurring Deposits, Senior Citizens Deposits, and Citibank Tax Saver Deposits.
Citibank Fixed Deposit Interest Rates For Regular Customers
Effective as of February 11, 2022, Citibank India is offering an interest rate of 1.85% on deposits of less than Rs 2 Cr maturing in 7 days to 14 days. Regular customers will now get a 1.90 percent interest rate on time deposits maturing in 15 to 35 days. Fixed deposits maturing in 36 to 180 days will now fetch 2.55 percent interest. Fixed deposits maturing between 181-270 days and 271 days to 540 days will offer 2.60 percent and 2.75 percent, respectively. Non-senior citizens will now receive interest rates of 3.00 percent and 3.50 percent on term deposits maturing in 541-731 days and 732-1096 days, respectively.

Citibank Recurring Deposit Interest Rates
Citibank India also has a recurring deposit scheme in which customers must pay a minimum monthly installment of Rs 1000 up to a maximum of Rs 20,000 for a period of 12 months to 24 months. The bank is currently giving the following interest rates on recurring deposits of less than Rs 2 Cr.
