Ladki Bahin Yojana April Installment Date: In a major update for all the beneficiaries of Maharashtra government's Ladki Bahin Yojana, Minister for Women and Child Development Aditi S Tatkare has said that scheme's April installment will be transferred to beneficiaries accounts by May 6-7.

"Under the ambitious scheme "Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin", the process of depositing the honorarium fund for the month of April in the Aadhaar-linked bank accounts of eligible beneficiaries Ladki Bahin is being started from today. This process will be completed in the next 2 to 3 days and all eligible beneficiaries will receive the funds directly in their accounts," read a post by Tatkare on X.

What is Ladki Bahin Yojana?

Ladki Bahin Yojana, also known as Ladki Bahini Yojana or Mazi Ladki Bahin Yojana, is a social welfare scheme by the Maharashtra government for women aged 21 to 65 years. Under this scheme, eligible women beneficiaries will get a monthly assistance of Rs 1,500 every month directly in their bank accounts.

To be eligible for the scheme, it is important for the beneficiaries be a permanent resident of Maharashtra. Age limit for the scheme is between 21 years and 65 years. Applicant's family income mist not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh. Additionally, applicant's family members should not be employed as regular, permanent, or contractual staff in any government department, undertaking, board, or local body.
Their family should not own any four-wheeled vehicle, except a tractor. And the applying woman must have a bank account in her name. She should not have received more than Rs 1,500 from any other financial scheme by the government.

The application process for the Ladki Bahin Yojana is very simple, eligible women can apply to be a part of the welfare scheme online and offline. They can apply online for the Maharashtra government's scheme through the newly launched portal ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in. To apply for Ladki Bahin Yojana offline, people can visit local Anganwadi centres, gram panchayat, and municipal offices to get its application form.

Ladki Bahin Yojana: What Are the Documents Required To Apply?

Beneficiaries would require a valid Aadhaar card as a proof of identity, residence certificate for proof of residency in Maharashtra. They can get the document from local authorities.

-They will also require to submit birth certificate, ration card, bank passbook, income certificate, latest photograph, affidavit for compliance, passport-sized photograph.
