There's good news for over 2.47 crore women in Maharashtra waiting for the next installment under the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Dada Pawar has officially announced that the 12th instalment of Rs.1,500 for June 2025 will be distributed within the next two to three days, bringing much-awaited relief to eligible women across the state. However, certain women may not receive this month's payout because of ineligibility.
Who Will Not Get Rs 1,500 in June?
According to the eligibility rules under the Maharashtra Ladli Behna Yojana, the following women have been declared ineligible:
- Women below 21 or above 65 years of age.
- Applicants with an annual family income over ₹2.5 lakh.
- Women or family members who are government employees.
- Households owning four-wheelers (excluding tractors).
- Those already benefiting from other government schemes.
- Non-residents of Maharashtra.
The applications of women violating any of these rules have been cancelled, and as per officials, the verification drive will continue.
When Will The 12th Installment Be Credited?
While the government has not yet officially announced a payment date, sources indicate that the 12th instalment for June 2025 will likely be transferred in the last week of June directly into the bank accounts of eligible women.

A massive fund of Rs. 3,690 crore is expected to be released soon by the state government to the Women and Child Development Department for distributing the June instalment. The payout will be carried out in two phases, ensuring that all eligible women married, widowed, divorced, abandoned, or destitute receive the benefit directly into their bank accounts.
June Installment Date & Backlog Payments
The government has also clarified that women who did not receive payments for April and May will now get three instalments together with the June instalment. This will come as a major financial relief for thousands of women who were previously awaiting their dues.
New Scheme Benefit: Loan of Rs.40,000
The state government has also introduced a special loan benefit of up to ₹40,000 for the scheme's beneficiaries on the ocassion of completion of one year of the scheme. This amount is aimed at helping women start small businesses or self-employment ventures. The loan will be repayable in easy instalments, offering financial empowerment and entrepreneurial opportunities for women.
