As silver is shinning bright with its prices hovering at record levels, Zerodha Fund House, on Monday, launched 'Zerodha Silver ETF FoF' for investors with a penchant for white metal. Zerodha's new scheme will open for subscription on June 23, 2025 and will close on July 4, 2025.
The price of silver has increased nearly 20% since the beginning of 2025 and has surged around 10% in last one month amid rising industrial demand for the precious metal. Zerodha's Silver ETF scheme would provide capital appreciation by investing in units of Zerodha Silver ETF, which tracks the performance of hte domestic price of physical silver, according to the company press release.
"Silver has the potential to play a role in both investment portfolios and modern industries. With demand accelerating in the renewable energy, electronics, and automotive sectors, alongside a global shift towards sustainability, it bodes well for silver's long-term growth. Our Silver ETF FoF aims to provide investors with a simple and cost-effective way to invest in silver regularly through SIPs and diversify their portfolios," said Vishal Jain, CEO, Zerodha Fund House.

Zerodha Silver ETF FoF NFO opened for investors on Monday, June 23, and will close on July 4, 2025. Investment in Zerodha Silver ETF FoF will be at high risk. Zerodha Silver ETF FoF: Key Features Of The NFO
The new fund offer of the ETF will provide a passive investment strategy for investors who are willing to minimise their risk on direct investment in silver without missing out on its value appreciation. Zerodha Silver ETF tracks the performance of the domestic price of physical silver.
Zerodha Silver ETF FoF: Key Allocations
As per the investment objective of the scheme, 95-100% of the the ETF FoF assets will be invested to the units of the underlying Zerodha Silver ETF.
The remaining 0-5% of the asset of the fund will be invested in debt securities and money market instruments. People can invest in the NFO with a minimum amount of Rs 500 and in multiples of 'any amount' thereafter. The starting net asset value (NAV) of Zerodha Fund will be Rs 10 per unit. Investors can also invest in the NFO via systematic investment plan (SIP).

About NFO Fund Managers
The active NFO will be managed by Kedarnath Mirajkar and Shyam Agarwal. According to Zerodha's official website, Mirajhkar, in his 17 years of experience, has handled multiple roles at Aditya Birla Sunlife AMC, and management of multiple passive products like ETFs and index funds. An advocate of passive investment, Shyam Agarwal, has an experience of different management roles at smallcase and True Beacon.
