Large cap pharmaceuticals company, Abbott India on Friday announced a 9.5% YoY jump in net profit at Rs 231.4 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2023. Earlier last year, in the corresponding quarter, it announced a net profit of Rs 211.4 crore. The board of directors of the company recommended payment of final dividend of Rs 180/- per equity share for the year ended March 31, 2023. Check details below:

Abbott India Declares Huge Dividend: According to the BSE filing of the company, "Pursuant to Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligation and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, we hereby inform you that the Board of Directors at its Meeting held today i.e., May 19, 2023, recommended payment of final dividend of Rs. 180/- and special dividend of Rs. 145/- per equity share of Rs 10/- each for the year ended March 31, 2023, subject to approval of the Shareholders at the ensuing Seventy-ninth Annual General Meeting of the Company scheduled to be held on August 9, 2023."

The stock's 52-week high price is Rs 23,142.55 apiece and 52-week low price is Rs 17,349.05 apiece, respectively. The company's market capitalisation is Rs 44,378.85 crore. The stock rallied over 5% in last 6-months, 15% in last 1-year, 30% in last 2-years, and 26% in last 3-years. In last 5-years, the shares of Abbott India gave return of 209%.
Abbott India Q4: The company's revenue declared at Rs 1,343.1 crore during the period under consideration, up 7% against Rs 1,254.8 crore declared in the corresponding period of the last fiscal.
The zero-debt company said that at the operating level, its EBITDA fell 4.6% to Rs 280.1 crore for the fourth quarter of this fiscal against Rs 293.6 crore announced in the corresponding period of last year. Meanwhile, EBITDA margin announced at 20.9% in the current quarter as against 23.4% declared in the corresponding period in the last fiscal.
