
GRUH Finance Ltd. Company Fixed deposit: The GRUH Annual Income plan could be opted by investors with an investment amount of as less as Rs. 2000/- for a tenure between 12-84 months. For different investment horizons, the company offers different annual returns in the range of 9.00 - 9.50%.
Senior citizens and trust depositors are entitled to an additional 0.25% return. The investors will also receive advance interest warrants for interest in each financial year. The fixed deposit scheme of GRUH has been accorded CRISIL-FAAA & ICRA-MAAA credit rating. Being a subsidiary unit of HDFC, the company enjoys recognition by National Housing Bank.
Mahindra Finance fixed deposit scheme: With both cumulative and non-cumulative options available, the company offers guaranteed returns at highly competitive rates. Under the cumulative scheme, for a minimum investment of Rs. 10,000 the FD scheme offers interest rates @ 9.25%, 10% and 10.25% p.a for FDs maturing in one, two and three years respectively. The FD offers 0.25% additional interest to senior citizens and is FAAA rated by CRISIL that shows a high level of safety.
HUDCO tax-free bonds: Tax-free interest rate offering by HUDCO surpassed all previous return benchmarks on tax-free bonds with an interest rate offering of as high as 9.01%. To retail investors, the debt instrument is offering an annualised coupon rate @ 8.76%, 8.83% and 9.01% for maturity term of 10, 15 and 20 years respectively. So, investors in the highest tax bracket can realize high pre-tax yield. The public issue for tax-free bonds by HUDCO is open for subscription until January 10.
Mannapuram NCDs: Public-issue of secured, redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs) by gold loan NBFC that opened on December 30 plans to mobilize Rs. 100 crores with a green-shoe option. With a face value of Rs. 1000 each, the tenure of the NCD is from 400 days-70 months. The NCD issue shall yield effective return @12.61% per annum. CRISIL has accorded Mannapuram NCDs with 'A/negative' rating.
NHB tax-free bonds: The tax-free bonds of NHB that opened for subscription on December 30, 2013 is offering an attractive coupon rate of 8.51%, 8.88% & 9.01% for bonds maturing in 10, 15 and 20 years respectively. As the RBI in its recent monetary policy review kept the key rates unchanged in the wake of low economic growth, any rate hike in the near future is highly unlikely and so the interest rate offering by NHB is probably the highest.
