State Bank of India customers may face inconvenience in using online banking services at SBI Yono application on Sunday, September 7. SBI services related to UPI, IMPS, YONO, YONO Business, Internet Banking, NEFT and RTGS, will be temporarily suspended tomorrow due to maintenance activity, stated SBI in an official statement.
These activities will remain suspended from 1:20 am to 2:20 am on 7 September and will resume later. To avoid any problem while using online banking problem, the bank has urged its customers to use ATM and UPI Lite Services.

"Due to scheduled maintenance activity, our services UPI, IMPS, YONO, YONO Business, Internet Banking, NEFT & RTGS will be temporarily unavailable from 01:20 hrs to 02:20 hrs on 07.09.2025 (IST). These services will resume by 02:20 hrs on 07.09.2025 (IST). Meanwhile, customers are advised to use our ATM and UPI Lite Services. We regret the inconvenience and thank you for your patience," read a post by SBI on X.
SBI YONO Outage: For How Long Services Will Remain Unavailable?
To minimise the impact of SBI services suspension, the maintenance work will be carried out after midnight. The services will remain unavailable from 1:20 am to 2:20 am on Sunday.
What is SBI YONO?
YONO SBI is a digital banking platform by the State Bank of India (SBI). It offers users access to various financial services. These include booking flights, trains, buses, and taxis, as well as online shopping and paying medical bills. SBI customers can download the application for their Android and iOS phones.
YONO was officially launched in November 2017. The app's development was part of a strategic plan to modernise banking services and cater to the evolving needs of younger customers. The project took four years to develop under the guidance of Rajnish Kumar.
The platform's name, YONO, stands for "You Only Need One," reflecting its aim to be a one-stop solution for various banking and lifestyle needs. By integrating multiple services into a single app, SBI has made it easier for users to manage their financial activities seamlessly.

This user-friendly solution aims to streamline small transactions efficiently.
To activate UPI LITE, users need to open their UPI app and select the option on the home screen. After agreeing to the terms, they enter an amount to add and choose their bank account. Entering the UPI PIN completes the activation process successfully.
