Axis bank has recently launched an app called "Ping Pay" that lets you send or ask for money and mobile recharge across Facebook, Whatsapp, Twitter, SMS or e-mail.
This facility is also available to non-Axis Bank account holders, using social and messaging channels like WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Email and Phone Contact lists.

However, the send money/recharge feature is available only for Axis Bank customers only.
To receive money/recharge, the receiver bank account needs to be IMPS enabled.
One can transfer amount from Rs 1 up to Rs 50,000 per day using Ping Pay.
How to use Ping Pay to transfer Money?

1. Enter your account number,
2. Add your social networks like Facebook, Twitter, whatapp
3. Select the person from the social media list to send money
4. After selecting the person, enter amount
5. Add Message, videos, images, voice note or customized messages.
6. Processed to do payment
To receive payments, you should share PIN with your friend. As soon as the receiver clicks on the link received and confirms acceptance of the funds by entering the OTP and bank details (in case of receiving for the first time ) the money will be instantly get credited into the account.

Ping Pay has been developed in partnership with Fastacash, a Singapore based, venture-capital backed firm.
The receiver has 15 days to transfer the money to his/her bank account using IMPS.
In the event, the receiver does not claim the money received within 15 days, the transaction would be auto reversed to the sender's account.
