How To Open Kotak Bank Account Via Kotak Now Mobile App?

Kotak Mahindra Bank recently launched an app where an individual can open bank account with the help of "Kotak Now" App.

Individuals can enter your personal details and upload documents easily. And verification does not even need you to visit a branch or have a branch representative come home.

You can simply have a video call with us on the app. Once the documents are verified, your new digital account is active.

How to open an account after in "Kotak Now" App?

Step 1 - Enter your mobile number and the OTP you receive

Step 2 - Click a picture of your PAN card as identity proof

Step 3 - Click a picture of your Aadhaar card or your Passport for address proof

Step 4 - Enter your Aadhaar number and your Aadhaar-registered mobile number. Enter the OTP you receive in the app to verify yourself by Aadhaar

Step 5 - Enter a few details about yourself - occupation, income, marital status, mother's maiden name and email etc.

Step 6 - Click a picture of your signature on a white piece of paper

Step 7 - Select your nearest Kotak Mahindra bank branch

Your Customer Relationship Number and Account Number will be shared with you.

Once the process is done, video call bank from the app itself, show your documents in front of phone camera, and bank will activate your account.

Make sure you set your password for Mobile Banking (MPIN).
