You can check the status of Aadhaar seeding to Syndicate Bank via online method or can call customer care of Syndicate Bank as well or just visit the nearest Syndicate Bank Branch.
The Government of India is making it mandatory to link Aadhaar card to the bank account to avail the benefits of several Govt. schemes and subsidy in their respective bank accounts. December 31, 2017, is the last day to get it done. According to reports, if a person fails to link their bank account with Aadhaar, then from January 1, 2018, the account will "cease to be operational".
Syndicate Bank which was established in Karnataka now has branches spread across the country and provides a range of financial products and services to its customers. Syndicate Bank customers who wish to seed their Aadhar card to their bank accounts to avail of various government schemes can do so using the below-mentioned methods.
Internet banking
Syndicate bank customers, who have availed Internet Banking facility, can directly update their Aadhar details using this option. You need to login to Syndicate bank netbanking window using your user id and password. Select option "Update Aadhar Number" available under Customer Services. Enter your details and Aadhaar number then. You will get a confirmation message when it is done.
SMS Banking
Customers can also send the request for updating the Aadhar details directly bySMS banking service. For this, they need to send SMS to 09241442255. The syntax for sending SMS is ADR- Customer ID- CASA Acct-No-Aadhaar No. You will get a notification once the seeding is done.
ATM
If you don't have internet banking facility, then this method will be very easy for you. The Syndicate debit card customers can update their Aadhar number in the ATM. Visit your nearest Syndicate bank ATM and insert your ATM card. A Select option other. Click on Aadhaar update, and enter your Aadhaar number. You may need to re-enter the Aadhaar number to confirm the seeding. A receipt will be generated after this saying your Aadhar number is updated successfully.
Link Offline
Aadhaar card can be linked to Syndicate Bank accounts offline also. You need to visit the nearest Syndicate Bank branch and request for a copy of the application form to link an Aadhaar Card with a Syndicate Bank account. Fill the details and submit the form at the branch along with the documents mentioned on the form. The lower portion of the form will be handed back as an acknowledgment of receipt of the application. After the bank has verified the information, a notification will be sent through email or SMS.
