NEFT or National Electronic Funds Transfer is well known for all who are familiar with internet banking. NEFT is a service that facilitates the electronic transfer of funds between any NEFT enabled banks.
You can use NEFT facility to pay your SBI Card outstanding through any bank account that allows NEFT. Know how to do it:
Step 1
- Visit your bank's net banking window
- Log in to it using password credentials.
- Go to Third party transfer.
- Add beneficiary and Add SBI Card as a beneficiary.
- Add the IFSC code SBIN00CARDS for making SBI Card payment.
Step 2
- In the place of the account number on the banking, page enter your 16-digit SBI Card number
- Fill Bank name as SBI CREDIT CARD - NEFT
- Fill Bank Address as PAYMENT SYSTEMS GROUP, STATE BANK GITC, CBD BELAPUR, NAVI MUMBAI.
Step 3
Click submit icon to complete the registration process. Now you can pay your SBI Card outstanding through your bank account every month. You don't need to add beneficiary again at the time of making payment. Payments made till 3:30 pm via NEFT payment mode, will get credited within 3 banking hours, same day. NEFT is not allowed on Sundays, second and fourth Saturday of the month. On declared bank holidays for the calendar year 2017 also NEFT won't work. For banking, holidays visit Goodreturns bank holidays. The charges applicable for NEFT will be based on the rules and regulations of your bank. The charges are not uniform for all banks.
