Metro trains are no more fantasy in Indian cities now. People in metro cities are using metro trains to save time and money. The DMRC added online payment option for the metro card last year for making metro card recharge easier for consumers. Metro commuters can now recharge your metro card directly from Paytm app also.
Paytm has partnered with DMRC to allow online recharge of metro cards through Paytm digital wallet. If you are Metro commuter, you can try this recharge option to avoid long queue and save time in metro stations. Here are the simple steps to recharge your Paytm account:
Step 1
Recharging your metro card is as simple as doing other recharges on Paytm. You need to follow these steps:
- Open your Paytm and click on metro
- Select the Metro operator.
- Enter your metro card number.
- You can find it on your metro card
- Enter the recharge amount
- Click on proceed to pay
Step 2
Choose from payment options. You can pay using Paytm wallet amount. If there is no sufficient balance in Paytm, pay via online banking. You will get a confirmation on this. How To Pay Through Paytm Without A Smartphone And Internet?
Step 3
