How To Check For Your Name On The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana List?

The government's flagship scheme Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) has received good response from Indian residents. This Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS) is categorised as urban and rural as well on the basis of annual income level to provide applicable benefits of subsidy on interest rates on home loans accordingly.

While those with annual income less than Rs 18 lakh per annum can apply for the "Housing for All by 2022" scheme (the eligibility criteria varies as per specified category), only a limited number of applications that get approved each year by the government.

If you have applied for the PMAY scheme to bring down the costs of owning your first house, you may want to know the status of your application.

Note that you will receive a registration ID after applying for PMAY.

PMAY-Urban

The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban or PMAY-U is centered on housing loan for the urban poor with varied rules for categories based on annual income. There is an EWS (Economically Weaker Section) category, MIG-I (Middle Income Group I) category and MIG-II category.

How to check your name on the list?

With Aadhaar

1. Visit the official website for PMAY-U, that is, pmaymis.gov.in
2. Click on the "Search Beneficiary" option on the page.
3. On the new page that opens, enter Aadhaar number in the space provided and click on "Show."
4. Details of your PMAY application along with status of the application will appear.

Without Aadhaar

If you did not register with your Aadhaar number, you can access the status of your PMAY-U application by name, father's name and mobile number or assessment ID.

1. Visit https://pmaymis.gov.in/Track_Application_Status.aspx
2. Select between the option to search the application status using assessment ID or by personal details.

3. Enter your details required in the boxes provided and click on "Submit."

PMAY-Gramin

The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin or PMAY-G, previously known as Indira Awaas Yojana, is meant for the rural poor families looking to build their first pucca house.

How to check your name on the list?

1. Visit https://rhreporting.nic.in/netiay/Benificiary.aspx, the official link to check application status for PMAY-G scheme.
2. Enter registration of your PMAY application and click on "Submit."

If you do not have the registration number, click on "Advanced Search" on the link provided above or click here. You can gain access to the application status by entering details on your state, district, etc as required on the page and click on "search."
