Withdrawing funds from ATMs is now more convenient because the ATM cash withdrawal system has been upgraded to Interoperable Cardless Cash Withdrawal (ICCW). This system enables users to withdraw cash from ATMs using UPI apps rather than debit or credit cards. The benefit of withdrawing money from an ATM without credit or debit cards is that it avoids situations such as lost cards, rejected transactions due to incorrect PINs, and ATM card theft. Here is how you can make a withdrawal from an ATM without using a debit or credit card.
What is a Cardless Cash Withdrawal transaction?
Customers who use the cardless cash withdrawal facility do not need to use their debit or credit cards to withdraw cash from ATMs.
Features Of Cardless Cash Withdrawal
- You do not need to carry debit or credit cards when withdrawing cash from ATMs if you use the card-less cash withdrawal facility.
- Cardless withdrawal is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout India.
- It is a safe and secure method of withdrawing cash from ATMs because it generates cash using the mobile PIN.
- When getting cash without a card, there is a daily transaction limit. You can withdraw up to Rs. 5,000 per day. Some banks have imposed a Rs. 10,000 limit.
