The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has announced that customers can now access their NPS Account Transaction Statement via DigiLocker. The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority's (PFRDA) Central Record Keeping Agencies (CRAs) have become DigiLocker partner organisations to deliver NPS subscriber-centric online services.
The PFRDA, in a circular dated 14 June, said, "NPS subscribers will be able to download their NPS Account Transaction Statement to DigiLocker for easy access and view their pension wealth. The statement can be downloaded for Tier I and Tier II both.

What is Digilocker?
DigiLocker is a secure digital platform offering a personal cloud-based space for users to store and access their personal documents and certificates. With DigiLocker, users can conveniently retrieve important documents anytime, anywhere. These digital documents hold the same legal validity as their physical counterparts.
Subscribers can get the e-PRAN and Account Statement by searching for PFRDA in DigiLocker and entering their PRAN, DoB, and Consent information once.
How to access NPS Statements through DigiLocker?
- NPS members can simply sign up for DigiLocker by providing their mobile number or Aadhaar number.
- For 2-factor authentication, the mobile/Aadhaar number will be authenticated by obtaining a one-time password (OTP). subscribers will then be assigned a security PIN.
- The subscriber's DigiLocker account is created after authentication.
- The documents available in DigiLocker include electronic records issued by several government agencies, notably the PFRDA-appointed Central Record Keeping Agency (CRA).
- These e-documents are obtained straight from the CRA system, which is the original data source.
- DigiLocker's issued papers section offers links to various documents.
- In DigiLocker, search for "PFRDA" and choose the applicable CRA.
- Enter your PRAN (Permanent Retirement Account Number) of 12 digits.
- To retrieve the Statement of Account, please grant permission to DigiLocker for sharing subscriber information with the issuers, specifically the CRA (Central Recordkeeping Agency).

Protean e-Government Technologies CRA (PCRA)
Subscribers have the convenience of accessing their e-PRAN card and Account Statement through DigiLocker. Additionally, DigiLocker offers the functionality to update their current address using their Driving License. Prospective subscribers can also open an NPS account easily by utilizing either the Aadhaar-DigiLocker link or their driving license.
KFin Technologies CRA (KCRA)
subscribers can view their ePRAN card and Account Statement. Subscribers can now utilise DigiLocker to update their Aadhaar address. Prospective consumers can now register for an NPS account by connecting their Aadhaar and DigiLocker.
Computer Age Management Services CRA (CCRA)
CRA subscribers can now view their e-PRAN card. Subscribers can now utilise DigiLocker to update their Aadhaar address.
