Bank/ Aadhaar Linking- How to check and Link your Aadhaar Card with a Bank Account?

Account Holders can easily link their respective Aadhaar cards to their bank accounts online via the bank's mobile application or internet banking. You must be registered with the bank for using the service. Here are some methods for checking whether your aadhaar card is linked to the bank account and linking your Aadhaar Card to your bank account.

How to Check Aadhaar with Bank Account Linking Status Online?

• Visit the official website
• Now, click on "Check Aadhaar/Bank Linking Status"
• Enter UID/VID, security code and then click on "Send OTP"
• Enter OTP and then click on "Submit"
• After submission, the bank account linked with Aadhaar will be displayed.
• But,if you have multiple bank accounts in the same bank, you will have to visit the bank to confirm the linked bank account number.

Through phone call

• Dial *99*99*1# with the registered mobile numberI
• Enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number
• Now, Re-enter the Aadhaar number
• After submitting, the status of aadhaar and bank account linking will be displayed.

Through mAadhaar

• Login to the mAadhaar app using credentials
• Click on 'My Aadhaar'
• Now, Tap on 'Aadhaar-Bank Account Link Status'
• Enter Aadhaar number, security code and click on 'Request OTP'
• Enter OTP
• Now click on 'Verify' to know your Aadhaar Bank account linking status.

How to link aadhaar with a bank account through Internet Banking?

• Login to the bank's internet banking account using login credentials.
• Tap on Update Aadhaar
• Enter profile password for Aadhaar Registration
• Enter your Aadhaar number twice.
• Click on the "Submit" button
• A message stating that linking of the aadhaar and bank account is successful will be displayed.

through mobile banking

• Login to the bank's mobile application
• Go to "Services" tab
• Now, click on "View/Update Aadhaar Card Details"
• Enter your Aadhaar number 2 times
• Now, Click "Submit" button
• A message confirming successful linking of your Aadhaar with bank account will be received.

Through ATM

• Swipe your ATM card
• Enter your PIN.
• Tap on the "Registrations" option.
• Now select the "Aadhaar Registration" option.
• Select the account type
• Enter your Aadhaar number and submit
• A confirmation message of successful linking will be received.

Through SMS

• Send a message in the format UIDAadhaar numberAccount number to 567676.
• A confirmation message will be sent.
