PM Kisan is a flagship initiative of the Indian government that aims to provide financial assistance to small and marginal farmers around the country.
This strategy has benefited farmers across the country, with 13 instalments of guaranteed help already transferred to their bank accounts. The 14th instalment is expected soon; however, if e-KYC and land verification have not been completed, the instalment may be delayed. The deadline for completing e-KYC is June 15, therefore you only have one day to complete it.

The central government provides Rs 6,000 to farmers each year through the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme). This sum is distributed in three instalments. The support payment is promptly transferred into the farmers' bank accounts. The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi sum is granted to either the husband or the wife. The 13th instalment was distributed to 8 crore 2 lakh farmers, with a total of Rs 16,800 crore paid to their bank accounts.
Furthermore, for farmers getting government aid, the government has made e-KYC with the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi essential. Through a programme, the Haryana government is promoting e-KYC among farmers. The Haryana government's official Twitter account also issued a tweet about it.
How to complete the e-kyc?
- Farmers can complete their e-KYC at an India Post Payment Bank camp in their village, according to the tweet.
