Step 1: Visit the National Voters Services Portal
Start by visiting the National Voters Services Portal at voters.eci.gov.in. Register using your mobile number to access the services.
Step 2: Fill Form 8
Once registered, click on Form 8, which is for 'Shifting of residence/correction of entries in existing electoral roll/replacement of EPIC/marking of PwD'.
Step 3: Select 'Self' and Submit
Select the option 'Self' and click 'Submit' to proceed with the correction process.
Step 4: Choose the Type of Correction
Select the appropriate option, such as 'Shifting of Residence', especially if the change is within the same Assembly Constituency, and click 'Ok'.
Step 5: Select Your State, District, and Constituency
After selecting your State, District, and Assembly/Parliamentary Constituency, click "Next" to proceed.
Step 6: Enter Your Details
Enter your Aadhaar number, email, mobile number, and the new address where you have shifted.
Step 7: Attach Supporting Documents
Upload supporting documents required for the address change, ensuring they meet the specified criteria.

Before submitting the form, double-check all of the information supplied. Ensure accuracy in your new address details and attached documents.
Step 9: Declaration and Submission
Tick the declaration box to confirm the accuracy of the information provided and click 'Submit' to complete the process.

If you possess an Electors Photo Identity Card (EPIC) with the old address, you can apply for a new EPIC with the updated address by submitting an application and paying a fee of Rs. 25 to the Electoral Registration Officer of the new constituency.
