The Unique Identification Authority of India's (UIDAI) mAadhaar app allows users to link the profiles of their family members to the app. mAadhaar is the official mobile application developed by UIDAI to allow Aadhaar card number holders to carry their demographic information, such as name, date of birth, gender, and address, as well as a photograph, in smartphones linked to their Aadhaar number. In essence, the app serves as a digital Aadhaar card number for users. Aadhaar recently tweeted from its official account about how to link their family profiles with the mAadhaar app.

Using the mAadhaar app, you can create multiple profiles for your family members. Only users with Aadhaars linked to registered mobile numbers can create Aadhaar profiles using the mAadhaar App. By doing so, they can create a profile in a smartphone app. Only their registered mobile phone, however, would receive the OTP. UIDAI created the official mobile app mAadhaar to allow Aadhaar card holders to carry their demographic data on their smartphones. The mAadhaar app can be used at any time and from any location in India.
