Ways to download masked Aadhaar card

The UIDAI portal allows you to quickly and easily download your masked Aadhaar or e-Aadhaar card online. You can download a masked Aadhaar in three ways: using your Aadhaar number, your Enrolment ID or EID, or your Virtual ID or VID. For each method, follow the steps outlined below.

Download masked Aadhaar card using Aadhaar number

• Visit https://uidai.gov.in/ and under the 'My Aadhaar' section, click on 'Download Aadhaar'
• Now enter your 12-digit Aadhaar Number or UID-Unique Identification Number and to get a masked Aadhaar Card, tick the box stating that 'I want a masked Aadhaar'
• Now enter the CAPTCHA code and click on 'Send OTP', you can also choose to use the Time-based one-time password or TOTP generated by the mAadhaar app by selecting the option 'Enter TOTP.'
• Now you will get an OTP on your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
• Enter the OTP in the required field, authenticate the same, and you will be able to download your masked Aadhaar card in PDF format.

Download masked Aadhaar card using Enrolment ID

• Visit https://uidai.gov.in/ and under the 'My Aadhaar' section, click on 'Download Aadhaar'
• Now under the 'Download Electronic Copy of Your Aadhaar' section, select 'Enrolment ID (EID)'
• Now enter your 14-digit EID number as specified in the enrolment form and select 'I want a masked Aadhaar' option.
• Now enter the CAPTCHA code and click on "Request OTP" to get an OTP on your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
• Now enter and verify the OTP to download your masked Aadhaar Card in PDF format.

Download masked Aadhaar card using Virtual ID or VID

• Visit https://uidai.gov.in/ and under the 'My Aadhaar' section, click on 'Virtual ID (VID) Generator' in 'Aadhaar Services' menu.
• Now enter your 12-digit Aadhaar card number and CAPTCHA code.
• Now click on 'Send OTP' to get an OTP on your registered mobile number.
• Enter the OTP and verify it to generate the Virtual ID.
• Now head to the 'Download Aadhaar' option under "My Aadhaar" section and click on 'Virtual ID (VID)'
• Now enter the generated 'Virtual ID' and select 'I want a masked Aadhaar'.
• Enter the CAPTCHA code and click on 'Submit OTP' to get an OTP on your registered mobile number.
• Enter the OTP and verify the same to download your masked Aadhaar card online in PDF format.
