How To Download Aadhaar On WhatsApp?
Forget DigiLocker, here are easier and more quick ways to download Aadhaar card online on your go-to chat application, ie WhatsApp.
-First things first! Ensure that you have downloaded and installed the WhatsApp application on your phone.
-Now, save the MyGovt Helpdesk number, ie 91-9013151515) in your contacts.
-Open your WhatsApp and send a simple message 'Hi' or 'Namaste' on the number.
-Choose DigiLocker services from the options provided by the chatbot.
-Confirm your DigiLocker account and enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number.
-After entering the OTP sent to your registered mobile number for verification, the chatbot will show a list of available documents.
-Select Aadhaar, and you'll receive a PDF version of the card directly on WhatsApp. Remember, only one document can be retrieved at a time, and Aadhaar must be linked in DigiLocker beforehand.
Other Ways To Download Aadhaar
For those who are unwilling to download Aadhaar by sharing OTP, they can download the document by providing details like their name, gender, and date of birth on the UIDAI website.
-After entering their Aadhaar number and request number, they can proceed with a TOTP generated through the mAadhaar app instead of an OTP.
-This electronic version of Aadhaar can be stored on a phone and serves as valid ID proof but cannot be printed.
