UIDAI website has an option of a masked Aadhar card from which you can mask your downloaded E- aadhaar card. In the Mask Aadhar card only 4 digits of the aadhar number is visible while starting 8 numbers are masked with some characters such as "xxxx-xxxx".

How to download E- aadhaar card online?

• Go to the official website https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/genricDownloadAadhaar
• Click on "Aadhaar Number" option
• Enter aadhaar number
• Enter security code,
• Click generate OTP, OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number.
• Enter OTP
• Click "Verify and Document"

After verification is successful, password protected PDF of the Aadhar card is downloaded.

How to download E Aadhaar card online using enrollment number?

• If you want to download an E- aadhar card and forget your aadhaar number in that case you can download using your enrollment number.
• Go to the official website https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/genricDownloadAadhaar
• Enter your 28-digit enrolment number
• Enter security code
• Generate OTP
• Enter the OTP received on registered mobile number
• Click on verify and download

After verification, you can download your password protected E-Aadhaar card pdf.

How to open the password protected E-Aadhar card PDF?

The password protected E- Aadhar card pdf can be opened by entering an 8 character password. The password of this password protected PDF is the first 4 letters of the name in capital letters and the last four characters are your year of birth.

Key points to keep in mind-

• As per the Aadhaar Act, E-Aadhaar is equally valid like Physical Copy of Aadhaar.
• Without OTP you cannot download the Aadhar card.
