ATM cards help customers to withdraw money, online transactions, or to check bank balances, etc. However, after you get the ATM card you need to generate a secret PIN to activate and use the card. Here, it has been discussed how can you generate SBI ATM PIN in multiple ways.

Generating the SBI PIN at ATM
To generate the SBI ATM PIN, visit any SBI ATM and insert the card into the ATM. Go to the 'PIN Generation' option, enter the 11-digit account number written on the card, and then click on the 'Confirm' option. After that, you need to put the registered mobile number, and click on the 'Confirm' option. Then on the screen, you can find a message saying: 'Your green PIN will be shortly delivered to your registered mobile number'. Then click on the 'Confirm' option, and get another message stating 'Your Green PIN generation has been successful and you will receive the same on your mobile number'. After that, you will receive one time PIN (OTP) on your registered mobile number. It is called the Green PIN. So, you must confirm that the registered mobile number is activated on your mobile phone.
After that process, you need to remove and re-insert the SBI card for generating your secured and new card PIN, for which you will have to use the given Green PIN. After reinserting the SBI card in the ATM, go to the 'Banking' option and select your preferred language. Then, put the OTP you have already received on your registered mobile. Go to the 'PIN Change' option from the 'Select Transaction' window. Here, you will need to give a new 4-digit PIN, and re-confirm it. After a successful process, you will get a message stating, 'Your PIN has been changed successfully'. You need to use that PIN only to proceed with any transaction by this card, balance check, or money withdrawal.
Generating SBI Card PIN via SMS
For generating a new secured ATM PIN, you must have the Green PIN that you will receive on the registered mobile number.
You need to SMS PIN the last 4-digits of the card number and the last 4-digits of the bank account number linked to the debit card to 567676. Then you will get the OTP to the same mobile number, which will be valid for 2 days. Similarly, you will have to use the number/Green PIN to generate the card PIN by visiting any SBI ATM. Then follow the same above-mentioned steps at the ATM for generating the new ATM PIN.
