The e-Andhra and e-Corporation Bank branches' IFSC codes have been modified. After April 1, 2021, old IFSC codes for both banks' branches will no longer be valid. The e-Andhra and e-Corporation Banks were merged into the Union Bank of India on April 1, 2020. Both banks' IT merger was done without modifying customers' account numbers, but IFSC codes were modified. Customers of the former e-Andhra and the e-Corporation Bank will continue to have the same account number, allowing for seamless banking transactions.

Customers will need to get new cheque books with the new IFSC and MICR codes, which will begin with UBIN08 for e-Andhra and UBIN09 for e-Corporation Bank. Customers can get a new IFSC code by typing "IFSC(OLDIFSC)" and sending it to 09223008486, calling Customer Care at 1800-208-2244/1800-425-1515/1800-425-3555, or visiting Union Bank's website. The Union Bank of India has informed customers to modify new IFSC on their mandates and alert remitters of the changes. Customers are also advised to get new cheque books from their local branch or apply online via the Bank's Mobile App, online Banking, or ATM.
